Getting things off the ground with AI

I've moved my single-person business ahead this year because of AI.

I'm able to get things off the ground that I was never able to in the past. That doesn't mean it's thinking for me or doing all the work for me. Far from it. In fact, I'm probably working harder than ever.

What it has done is help me organize my time, focus on the things that are most important, and build the things that I had dreamed of doing when I started my business back in 2021 but could never manage to get off the ground.

There are negatives to everything. I'm not crazy about the companies who are leading the frontier of AI. I don't love the anthropomorphizing of what is simply very, very good technology.

But I can't ignore the real positives this technology has uncovered for me.

I'm headed to MAICON (the Marketing AI Conference from Marketing AI Institute) this week in Cleveland for my fourth year in a row to learn more about how to put AI to use in real ways in my business and for the businesses I support, and to meet people who are doing far more than I am.

If you're going to be in Cleveland, say hi! Or check in with me next week for a recap of what I've picked up at the conference.

And I guess (clenching when I write this as a lifelong KC Royals fan), go Guardians?
