This one hits hard for me. Ace was a legend and inspired so many guitarists. I am thankful to have gotten to see him many times, both in KISS and as a solo artist.
He played loud, he performed with style, attitude, personality, and humanity. He wasn't perfect, but he loved to make music and he loved to have fun.
Here's a playlist I put together of some of my favorites from the Ace catalog, both in KISS and as a solo artist, spanning more than 50 years.
